Quick guide
- Before work, ticketing or supplier/authority submission: cancellation is normally possible, less any disclosed work already completed or non-recoverable charge.
- After submission to ICP or the relevant immigration authority: the visa application payment is non-refundable, including if the application is rejected, refused, delayed, withdrawn after submission, issued but unused, or the traveller is refused entry.
- Flights, hotels, transfers, tours and tickets: the fare or supplier rule shown for that option applies.
- Duplicate payments or proven overpayments: refunded in full after verification.
How to cancel or change
Email hello@almahratravels.com or WhatsApp +971 56 592 8229 immediately and quote your order number, traveller name and requested action. A message does not itself cancel the service; cancellation is effective when our team confirms it in writing.
Requests received outside supplier operating hours are treated as received when the relevant supplier or authority next opens. No-show, late arrival or unused services are non-refundable unless the supplier rule says otherwise.
Visa services
Before submission to the immigration authority, we will refund recoverable amounts after deducting any clearly disclosed work already completed and non-recoverable third-party cost.
Once the application has been submitted to ICP or the relevant immigration authority, the visa application payment is non-refundable. No refund is due if the application is rejected or refused, requires more information, is delayed, is withdrawn after submission, is issued with a shorter validity, is issued but unused, or the traveller is refused entry. This visa rule is separate from the supplier-based refund rules that apply to flights, hotels, transfers, tours and tickets.
If Almahra is unable to submit the application and it has not been sent to ICP or another immigration authority, we will refund the recoverable unprovided portion. Confirmed duplicate payments and technical overpayments remain refundable after verification.
Flights, stays and experiences
Airline fare rules govern flight changes, cancellations, baggage and no-shows. Hotel, tour, transfer, attraction and event refunds follow the cancellation deadline and supplier conditions shown before purchase or in the confirmation.
Some products are immediately ticketed, dated, personalised or expressly non-refundable. Where a supplier permits a refund or credit, we pass it to you after receipt, less only the disclosed supplier charges and any lawful Almahra service fee.
Refund timing and method
Approved card refunds are initiated to the same card used for payment, normally within 7 business days after approval and after any required supplier funds are received. Your bank or card scheme may take up to 15 additional business days to display the credit.
Cash or office payments are refunded through a verified method in the original payer's name. We do not normally refund to a different person, card or wallet. Currency conversion differences and bank fees are outside Almahra's control.
Failed, pending or duplicate card transactions
A declined payment does not create a confirmed booking. A pending card transaction may be an issuer authorisation hold; we verify the final status with Network International before fulfilment or refund.
Do not submit a chargeback while a refund or status investigation is in progress without first contacting us. This does not remove any lawful right to dispute a transaction with your issuer.
Our cancellation
If Almahra cancels a service before fulfilment for reasons within our control, you may choose a suitable alternative or a refund of the unprovided portion. If a supplier or event outside reasonable control cancels, the supplier's remedy applies and we will assist in obtaining any available refund, credit or rebooking.
Request a review
If you disagree with a decision, email hello@almahratravels.com within 30 days of our response. Include the order number and supporting evidence. We will acknowledge a formal complaint and provide a reasoned response after reviewing supplier and payment records.
